I took up the determination to make a mass SMS to my besties clique regarding a Hari Raya outing. It just came to my mind that no one wanted to make the first move, so I gotta plan ahead. I picked up my W995 and messaged them like this:
“Sixsomes & L.I.A’s, are u free for Raya on Sunday, 26th?”
So of course I got my responses from most of the eight people. The problem came when I read a long message reply. That’s what I hate when a read an SMS: a long one. Long message means a problem arises. So yeah, there’s two major problems, fortunately. Then, when I try make another date, it’s not possible. One is on National Service; he’s free on weekends only. Then the other one, is on a trip to China from tomorrow, 13th Sept, till the day I plan to go out together, 26th. When I think of planning the week after, nahh. It’s kinda late to go out on Raya. So here lies my own decision.
Well, since I’m gonna meet them soon at the end of the year, and it’s almost gonna be the end of the year, so I just said in my heart: “OK, guys, I’ll just ignore everything you guys just responded back and see you guys on December”. I couldn’t sms back like that, right. People are gonna be upset they can’t go Raya together this year like the past years. Or, let’s just wait for a miracle to happen then.
